Welcome to my Mexico travel blog, where I post about lesser-known travel destinations and hidden gems in Mexico.

How did I end up in Mexico? In 2022 I fulfilled a long-awaited wish: To live in a Spanish-speaking country with a warmer climate. On the one hand, to improve my language skills, which had been pretty dusty since my studies at university. And on the other hand, to satisfy the desire for warmth and sun that can come over you, especially in cold Germany during the wintertime. So, after much hesitation, my husband Claus and I packed our bags: Off to Mexico! Since then we’ve been discovering the country and its people and learning something new daily. As the photos piled up over time, I didn’t want to let them collect dust on my computer’s hard drive until I forgot what they were all about. And that’s how this blog and the associated Instagram account came into being. It’s a project close to my heart through which I hope to share my enthusiasm for Mexico with others. ¡Viva México!
